Console

Creation of PROMs and running studies using our PROMs is all managed in our CS console. Most of the steps discussed in this manual take place in this console.

Mobile applications (apps)

Château Santé offers several smart mobile applications (tools) for taking measurements easily and efficiently. At the moment two tools are available (HealthSnApp, HealthFan).

HealthFan

A HealthFan makes it possible to present large sets of health items to patients in a clear, informative diagram. This tool can be used as a first step in the process of developing patient-centered PROMs. With this tool the most important health items can be determined from the viewpoint of patient groups. The HealthFan diagram is intended to make the cognitive task easier by presenting a set of health items in a systematic approach. It assembles related health items that are associated with broader health domains and subdomains. Patients are asked to select a restricted number of items from the diagram (Figure 2) that are most important to them. Additional explanation may appear on the screen when hovering over an item. In a subsequent step, patients are asked to rank the items they has selected.
HealthSnApp
This is a multifunctional piece of software that runs on several devices (smartphone, tablet, laptop, desktop) that can handle some of the main features of our new measurement framework. The HealthSnApp can deal with all kinds of preference-based PROMs. All kind of subjective phenomena (perceived health, well-being, crossory stores, cities, ...) can be measured as long as the object of interest consist of a limited number (3-18) of items with different levels. In this manual only the HealthSnapp is described in detail.
