      Creating a PROM (Instrument)

      When selecting the button (right-above) New Instrument a page is shown with several field that correspond to specific sections of the HealthSnApp. For some sections templates are shown to make the creation of a new PROM more easy.
      First you have to specify for which language you are creating a new instrument. For an instrument multiple languages can be created (entry field on the rigth top). So for each unique instrument all languages (if available) are collected at one place.
      There are two pages to complete. One page for task 1 and one for task 2 (see buttons). For several of these fields HTML coding (bold, underline, larger size, next line) is an option (see internet for HTML codes).

      Active/inactive instruments

      The “active/inactive” filtering feature from the instruments panel works as follows:
      • Active instruments = Unassigned instruments OR instruments which are assigned to one or more studies that haven’t expired (their due date wasn’t yet reached)
      • Inactive instruments = Instruments which are assigned to one or more studies which have all expired (their due date is in the past)

      The purpose for this grouping is to simplify the user experience after a few years, when multiple instruments will have been created and are no longer useful in the overview.
